Inspector (Night Shift)

Location : Huntsville, AL

Salary : $44.77 / hr

Employment Type : 6 month assignment w / potential to extend or be hired direct

Shift : B Shift,

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
• Familiar with the use of personal computers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.

S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities :

• Setup, program and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect, make, and buy components.
• Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.
• Perform in-process, and final inspections.
• Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
• Perform daily / weekly / monthly PM on machines and document.
• Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission
